Starting in 2022 and running annually, I co-developed a series of collaborative painting projects, named the Prometheus project, in collaboration with artist and fine art lecturer Christian Mieves. The projects include Glaucus & Scylla (2022), Prometheus (2023), and Arachne (2024).

Each project allowed me to work alongside a cohort of new art students from Newcastle University (and later The University of Sunderland), to explore Greek mythology and the act of collaborative painting.

This charcoal drawing shows a group of Newcastle students toward the end of a day of painting, stepping back away from the work to consider what they have achieved.

This drawing was included in my first solo exhibition Like Ships in the Night.
