Sharing a Chair is a painting of my mum’s dogs, Polly and Abby.

The older and quieter Abby lies on the throw-covered armchair, attempting to nap, as the younger and more audacious Polly half-sits over her, much to Abby’s chagrin.

This piece was made during my weekly oil painting sessions at The Customs house.
