scrAPPLE

Oil on canvas
2024

scrAPPLE originally began life as an attempt at an alternative still life. An apple is situated on my cluttered coffee table, taking pride of place on my bright yellow knitted coaster. The painting is tightly framed causing the surrounding objects to be unceremoniously cropped and left out.

The painting has a warm glow, originating from the heavy use of warm yellows and red throughout the piece.
