Newcastle Arts Centre has many spaces, departments, and facilities. Our long standing shops: Details Art Materials, Craftshop, and the Frameshop. The Office staff programming activity and projects. Art Course Tutors delivering a range of practical classes. The Black Swan Venue team hosting our live music and events. The Trustees and Building Staff working hard on maintaining and developing our site.

We’re proud that so many of our team are artists as well; we believe that’s part of what makes Newcastle Arts Centre tick.

And of course we are always thrilled to boast about our Studio Holders. From painters and photographers, a sculptor and a book binder, we have a dynamic group artists who’ve chose to make the Arts Centre their creative home.

This exhibition celebrates the artistic practice of those who work and spend time here. Whether full time, part time or when we get the time, we’re a cohort of artists with work we’d love to share with you.
