Koi continues my series of works from my weekly oil painting classes.

This painting shows a close top-down view of a koi-filled pond. The dark, almost-black water ripples with the movement of the fish as they gently weave around each other. The koi themselves are painted in glowing oranges, highlighted with neat titanium white.
